One of the things about professional photography is that it is rarely boring. Sometimes you don’t know where the next phone call or email will take you. This time it was Steve from Steve Clinkscale Music. He needed some product shots for his catalogues and website. I have to admit I never thought that this would be a particularly interesting assignment but I was to be proved wrong. Steve’s company produce and distribute, among other things, Stephanelli and Crucianelli accordians and these things are just stunning. The colours, the countours and the amazing attention to detail which goes into them is staggering. I have never been very musical and never so much as stood next to an accordion before but the beauty of these instruments made them a dream to photograph.
