Wedding Shows Spring 2010

We had a fun day at the Bollywood Asian Wedding Show on 17th January.  The Show was held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh and included wonderful food, fashion shows and Bollywood dancing.   We had a great day meeting lots of new people.  As one of Scotland’s finest hotels, the Sheraton provided an impressive setting for the Show.  If you’d like to discuss the possibilities of this venue for your wedding, contact their Events Department. 

Thee Wedding Show

Our next wedding event is Thee Wedding Show, which will take place on 20th and 21st March at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh.  We’ll have sample albums for you to view and we’ll be running a special offer for Show visitors, so pop the date in your diary now.

Asian Wedding Show, 17th January 2010

Come along to the Asian Wedding Show Scotland this Sunday, 17th January.  We’ll be exhibiting at the beautiful Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa in Edinburgh.   Entry to the Show is free and the day will include:

  • Fabulous fashion shows
  • Dance shows with international Bollywood dancers
  • Entry into a prize draw
  • Food and refreshments.

Asian Wedding Show Scotland

Tired but happy

After a hot bath and a cold beer I am almost recovered from day one of Thee Wedding Show. Standing up for eight hours is pretty hard work. The only thing that makes it worthwhile is meeting lots of nice new people who are excitedly making plans for their wedding. It’s not until you visit a fair and see the huge variety of things on show, from cars to cakes, from dance floors to diamond tiaras and from frocks to fireworks that you realise the amount of planning a wedding requires.

I would like to give a massive thanks to the couples who booked with us today and to let them know that I am really looking forward to playing my small part in their big days.

A special mention must go to the folks from Hard Rock Cafe who introduced me to Mahitos and Cosmos, really nice but mustn’t make a habit of cocktails before lunch.

This weekend sees the first ever Thee Wedding show. Held at Murrayfield International Rugby stadium Thee Wedding Show has approximately 100 exhibitors.
We will be there and we look forward to meeting you and chatting about your wedding photography requirements.

McBeth Photography would like to take this opportunity to thank all the lovely people who visited our stand at the RCPE wedding fair yesterday. You wouldn’t have seen me as I was on babysitting duties but Jess had a great time and really enjoyed meeting lots of new people and chatting about all things wedding.

Don’t forget we are also exhibiting at Thee Wedding Show at Murrayfield Stadium next Saturday and Sunday.  Gran and Gramps have very kindly offered to look after little Esme so both Jess and I will be able to answer any questions you may have, show you our sample albums and may even have a wee sweetie for you.

The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh

Had the pleasure today of being let loose around the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh to capture some promotional images for their conferencing facilities. It really is a beautiful building. Some of the rooms have to be seen to be believed. Fantastically ornate ceilings, gothic pillars and priceless paintings and antiques make it a truly special place.

The RCPE is a great venue for weddings and they’re holding a wedding fair on Sunday 27th September. We’ll have a stand there, so come along for a chat and to see our album range if you’re getting married.
