I tell you, if I didn’t have two kids, a wife, a cat and a business to run, I would be a much more frequent blogger. Although one with nothing to write about.
Right then, busy few weeks gone by and a few more to come.
Pre-wedding shoots…
First one in recent weeks was with Deborah and Thomas. We had a wander round Melrose. This fab couple are getting married on the same day as another wedding, some posh guy called William and a real working class girl called Kate, you may have heard. For me there is only one wedding that day, and Mario Testino isnt covering it.
Then I had a brilliant morning with Debbie and Andrew, moochin around Debs’ family farm before heading over to Andrew’s land (Andrew is also a farmer) to get a few shots with the lovely folly at Hundy Mundy.
Later that day I was off to another farm (I am not exclusively a farmer photographer, bit of a niche) for Debbie (my third Deborah, Debbie or Debs of the weekend) and Norm’s shoot. Apart from them being a great couple, this shoot was especially fun as Norm was kinda giving me a tour of the farm. So many great tractors, JCB’s, combines and the like. It was as if I had gone back to my childhood. I do still have a bit of a thing for a nice tractor.
Also we had Thee Wedding Show at Murrayfield last week. Big thanks to all the lovely folk who came to speak to me. A few of them were even smart enough to book me to shoot their weddings … ding ding. I will also be exhibiting at Thee Wedding Show in George Sq Glasgow next weekend so pop along and have a natter please.
So busy time it has been, but still made time for one wee trip out with the family. Here is Esme eating the bread which was intended for the duck and Cairn just looking handsome.
Thanks folks and friends. Over and out.
